Wealth gap grows between young, old

Date: Monday, November 7, 2011, 6:39am PSTThe wealth gap between young and older Americans has grown to its widest since the U.S. Census Bureau began tracking the data 25 years ago.
The Associated Press reports the median net worth of households headed by someone 65 or older was $170,494 while the the median net worth for a household headed by someone younger than 35 was $3,662.

Ouch. That's quite a gap. And fits well with what I've seen in the people I know.
