addendum

In the previous blog I stated my resistance to international travel. 

One other thought about that ... I’m not in agreement with much of our foreign policies, including our exportation of right wing religions and our flooding the globe with materialistic/hyped-up consumerism.

American foreign policies have been horrid during most administrations since Eisenhower left office and those policies remain saturated with aggressive imperialistic values.  The residue from our meddling, corrupting and iron fist is not something I’m proud of ... so if I decide to do some globe trekking, I will be wearing a Canadian maple leaf label pin wherever I go.  Just don’t ask me questions about hockey.
