Still no tan line

Last week we had 6 sunny days.

You're probably sitting there reading this thinking,, "Whoa, those dudes and dudettes are sooo lucky!"

But there's a 'but' in the message.

Apparently Seattle, on average, gets 58 sunny days per year.

That means with 10 months of the years still to come we've already had about 10% of our allotted sunny days.

That sucks.

Crossing South on PBS last night, they were in San Felipe talking to several retirees from Seattle. They all said they left because of the rainy weather. I thought of you.

Yikes. Those odds don't bode well. Hey - I love that new header photo.

That sucks indeed! Beautiful country up there but way too much gray for this person. I did fine in Portland (after the 1st year) but I doubt I'd deal well with Seattle's grayness.

I love the sunshine we've been getting over our way, and there's more to come this week. I hope this year you get more than your average allotment.

Wait a minute = 10% of the year and 10% of your sunny days, you are on schedule.
This morning it was raining, one of our allotted 6 rain days this year.
